Schools-of-Choice
Hudsonville Public Schools is accepting Schools of Choice Applications under Section 105c (residents outside Ottawa County) for grades K-12.
Parents can apply by:
- Submitting a schools-of-choice application beginning August 2, 2010.
- Completing and returning the application to Hudsonville Public Schools Administrative Office by September 1 by 4:00 p.m. Parents will receive notification of acceptance no later than September 3 and will have until September 7 to confirm their desire to enroll their child in the choice building.
Important considerations for parents & students applying for schools-of-choice:
- Transportation is not provided for schools-of-choice enrollees; parents must provide their own transportation to and from school for children accepted for enrollment.
- According to the rules of the Michigan High School Athletic Association there is a 60 school day ineligible period for athletic participation for schools-of-choice enrollees in grades 10-12.
